According to the current estimations, visits may be booked or moved to dates after September 1, 2020.
We arrange guided tours for upper comprehensive schools (grades 7 and older), and students in secondary education or universities and UAS at the Viikinmäki wastewater treatment plant in Helsinki. Different associations and NGOs located in the metropolitan area can visit the WWTP. Visits for these groups are free of charge.
For safety reasons, we cannot arrange visits at the plant for schoolchildren younger than 7th graders. The maximum size of a group is 25 persons. A teacher should always accompany the student group.
- You should reserve the arranged guided tour in time, preferable in two weeks advance.
- The length of the guided tour is 1,5 hours.
- If you want to have coffee within the tour, you pay the costs by yourself. We can't arrange coffee on water treatment plants.
